Basecoat:Ā Apply basecoat per the manufactureās mixing and application instructions. Allow sufficient flash times before applying HIT#77165 clearcoat. Inadequate flash time will affect the performance of the clear.
Application:Ā Apply 2 even coats at 40-50 psi or (6-10 psi when using HVLP at the gun), allowing a 10-15 minute flash between coats. Wet coats will produce more gloss. Drier coats will produce a flat finish. The uneven coating can produce varied gloss levels in the finish.
Mixing Ratio:Ā Mix: 6 Parts #77165 & 1 part #77102
Dry Times at 77F:
Dust Free: 10-15 minutes
Tack Free: 45 minutes
To Deliver: 16-24 hours
Force Drying:
Purge Time: 15min at 77F
Bake Time: 30min at 140F
